Staats Theater Mainz commissioned me to create a full original music score and sound-design for the piece 4. It was choreographed and directed by Roni Haver and Guy Weizman, who together run the Club Guy and Roni dance company.
In collaboration with Guy Weizman
Israeli director Guy Weizman requested the creation of a special surround system to provide the audience with a level of immersion that is unusual in such performances. This consisted of an array of 12 speakers from where sound was diffused creating distinct sonic movements across the hall. I developed the music taking this into consideration and using my own software tools to make full use of the sound setup.
