Boolean Logic

Fracture is a generative art collection by Darien Brito built on procedural geometry and boolean logic. Each work in the series is constructed through the three fundamental set operations — union, intersection, and subtraction — applied simultaneously at both the vertex and pixel levels in TouchDesigner and GLSL. The result is a body of 25 unique pieces where form emerges not from manual composition, but from the internal grammar of computation itself.

Every token is seeded by a distinct numerical value, meaning each composition is both deterministic and unrepeatable — the system generates structure the way a crystal grows: governed by rules, yet singular in outcome. Architectural and fragmented, the works carry the visual logic of something split apart and reassembled under new constraints.

Math Expressionism

Fracture was created for Math Expressionism (Math Ex), an exhibition exploring the intersection of generative art and mathematical thinking within the international creative coding community. The collection was released in May 2022 as a limited edition of 25 on-chain NFTs on Versum.
