Isometric geometry

Laterals is an isometric project constructed with fundamental primitives in 3D computer graphics. The organisation of the objects on the scene emerges from different noise variants. The pieces aim to evoke a sense of deliberate structure, despite the purely aleatoric nature of the underlying algorithm.

I am fascinated by how, as humans, we are bound and almost desperate to find order, meaning and patterns, even in the face of explicitly random events and the most basic elements.
